Default Re: Scan tool for ABS, TC, and airbag issues

The torque program does not read these type of codes. It only does engine related codes.

For reference I did get lucky and I was able to read my codes.

I was looking for scan tools on craigslist and someone had an OTC 9450 that said it would do ABS and SRS systems. I picked it up for $80 used but like new. With the tool setup for my 05 H2 it didn't give me the option to view SRS codes but did give me the ABS code option. I got the code C0050 RRW speed circuit malfunction.

I then set it up for a 06 H2 even though mine is a 05. It did give me SRS and ABS options then. I tried to read the ABS codes again and it couldn't read them when set for the incorrect year. However, it did read the SRS codes! It gave me codes B0103 and B0104.

Now to just figure it out from here.
