I was referring to trolls in my post. I base a lot of theories on constant concepts of human behavior. Just because you don't like it does not mean you are in that category. I think it is cool that you state your opinion, as do I. I remark on the good and the bad aspects of the Hummer. I hate the look of the El Camino, however I don't go on a forum just to tell someone that. I don't base my opinions on superficial things either, these individuals that come on this forum starting trouble do, therefore, an underlying cause is causing bitterness.

The old merc does eat a lot more than my hummer but then again so does exploding people's lawn mower.

of course on the other hand i doubt his girlfriend shaves her legs and whatnot so i doubt their concerned with keeping a well groomed lawn.

And unlike you Shag, if you're comfortable shoe horning yourself into a little toy ****stick, far be it from me to criticize either you or your car.

EP, don't feel too disheartened by all these posts. Not everyone can run with the big dogs. It's not your fault that you are deathly afraid of driving the speed limit or large machines. Cleary, your parents didn't make you feel very safe growing up. I can even understand you creating your fantasy:

"I can only afford this cheap P.O.S. import. I know, I'll make it seem noble. I'll pretend I am society's protector."

Fortunately, you are young enough, that the possibility for recovery exists. See if you can avail yourself of Psych/Social services on your campus.

Look, there is no great shame in lacking affluence. Of course, it is no great honor either. Why not forget the fantasies? Try socializing a little more. Maybe even ask a girl out. Stop playing in the street. Those machines ARE big and scary. And don’t worry about Taz’s daugter kicking your ass. She barely has time for him.

Tower...I was told to join by Alec W, and Adam in CO after I met up with them for my 1st 4-wheeling trip 2 years ago (met them through another forum, and they suggested I join this one). I survived the initial newbie/troll thrashing so I decided to stick around. I guess you can say I am a glutten for punishment. That, and like I said earlier...I get along with the people, just not the vehicle, so why not stick around? Also, its fun to show up a bunch of H2's in my little s10.

LasVegas...if I didnt know what shoehorning meant...what would the odds be that I would know what propersity means (I looked it up, and know what it means now...but that is besides the point)? You need to dumb it down a little for me. I know you think I say certain things because I am "young"...but that isnt the reason at all. Believe it or not I am mature (and financially secure) beyond my years. Not H2 secure...but still doing pretty good. It is just more fun to be a pain in the ass.

God Bless America!!

I love college but hate the libral education system. It seems most all the professors would rather teach their students libral views rather than letting them make their own decisions.

I give him a 5. Trying to tote "I'm concerned about others so I bought a small ****box car to drive" line is getting a bit old. Oh, and bringing up the gas crap too. Nothing new here, just the same old crap.

i hope you get some mentoring from someone who really has a veiw of the real world.

For in another direct form of communication would cower as they have since the behavior was established.
OK...I have some problems with your logic. First off, if you are relying on a Car (or possesion of any kind) to be a "Status Symbol" you have some serious self confidence issues. What kind of person needs to buy a Car to show that they are the "Alpha" of the bunch? What kind of elementary school crap is that?

Also...the whole "if they act like they dont like it they must just be jealous" line has always bugged the **** out of me. I dont like H2's. I think they are ugly...and not nearly as capable as you all try to make them seem. I would never own one. Even if I won the Lotto I would never own one...I just dont like them. Does that make me Jealous??? Hardly.

Not to mention the whole anonymous jab at "dominant entities" comment. I talk about how ugly the H2 is to the owner's faces. It is my OPINION and I am not afraid to share my opinion...and if the owner gets all butt hurt about it, its their problem...not mine.

Dont get me wrong, I enjoy hanging out with pretty much all the H2 owners that I have met. Most of them are good people. Its just that their taste in cars sucks.

You'll have to excuse Shaggy. He's been given a free pass for so long, since he's sort of our poster child for hippie birth control, that now he thinks he can pipe up without any consequences.
Listen up coat hanger boy, be nice to the people that will most likely have to feed your mongrel dog ass when we're in Moab. ; )

whoa

which is why i'd love to see a movement where if anyone is injured/killed by an h2 driver acting irresponsibly, the injured or next of kin sue for possesion of the H2.

UHMM- dumbass, people do that already! I hope you don't plan on going to law school

And then they burn it for national tv audiences.

Wow- what a great idea! Dumbass, any ideas on what burning an H2 would do to the Ozone?

Actually, same goes for all cars, i think that should be standard practice, for a driver who severely injures or kills while driving irresponsibly loses their car to the victims or victims family.
WOW- another great view_ If you are driving irresposibly an kill someone, it's called "Man Slaughter"

I don't even give this dumb ass a 4. Come on, he has no facts, nothing to back his rediculous opinions, and is more than likley not even in college. He's at home because he dropped out of school and his sitter is showing him how to use the computer.

BTW- nothing wrong with driving a Hybrid or small car, but if you are driving 10 under the speed limit in front of me, I'd run your ass over.
