Hard Top Carrier Dimensions

H2Finally: Installing hard carrier...here goes:You will notice that your crossbars have a soft plastic strip across the top..take the keyed endcaps off the crossbars and simply peel the strips up and out...now you have large slots on the top of the crossbars...the hard carriers have upside down "T",s which slide into the slots and tighten on the inside of the carrier...since the crossbars have a large adjustment range, you could put a larger carrier on as long as you have the "T"'s to slide in.....(easier to do than to explain), but once you take off the keyed endcaps, it will all make sense...hope this helps..
