What do accomplishments have anything to do with it? Even if you had won the Medal of Honor and I was writeing from a cell at Ft. Leavenworth it wouldn't change the fact that you've been nothing but an ass'hole posting here. So why don't you crawl back under your rock.

Wow, first time I've looked at this thread. I'll step in for a couple of comments.
Walc: I have so much pride in having served as a Marine that I rarely miss the opportunity to come to the aide of a fellow Marine. I can’t here. I have a war record, but the details are really none of your business - even if I disagree with your views. I know, and know of, many who served in other services and many who never served in the military at all whom have displayed courage and conscientiousness as great as any person can show. Being in the service doesn’t make us better. Just sometimes more fully tested. My service definitely made me wiser. But only wiser than I had been before; not necessarily wiser than others. It still moves me when someone appreciates my service, but I've never bragged about it or belittled anyone who didn't serve. I hope I never do. Your record may be somehow more distinguished than mine, but, among those exposed to your comments, you have squandered the tremendous amount of respect you might have otherwise garnered. Even an accomplished hero who acts like a condescending bully and braggart really doesn't seem much like a hero. The people in here pushing back at you aren't the ones who are marginalizing your past - you are the one doing that. Maybe you don’t agree, but by my observations, most Marines generally are proud, but also somewhat humble.

I assume the lawyer jokes are just that, but I would say: There are about 800,000 lawyers in the USA. Just like auto mechanics, doctors, small businessmen, engineers, etc ..., there are a lot of bad ones, a lot of decent ones, and a lot of great ones. And I mean that both in terms of competence and ethics. They span the spectrum.

Those with no accomplishments don't want to compare .
They, as you illustrate, merely criticize.

Some more self-reflection, huh?

See, I just knew eventually you fuck up in here all by yourself.

The audacity to start this kind of squabble is unbelievable for real Americans. But, you being a blue state, lieberal lawyer, it isn't too shocking. Nice going, dickhead.
Even as former Navy, if I hear someone talking shit about the other branches I'll get in their face about it. Might I make the strong suggestion that you move to France. You'll like it there, pussy.

Can you translate that into English?

OK. Now you have the correct age.
Get Alec to help you write that in English; not, ebonics.

I would say "nice try," but it's not. It's the weakest response I've read in a long while.

You took the words right out of my mouth (now give them back! .) Classic lawyer tactic, you can't defend your client, or in this case yourself, so you try to misdirect it to someone the other side would be the "bad guy" for attacking. This is the kind of guy that asks loaded questions like: "Have you stopped beating your wife?"
