AZ-Boy,

I've made a firm decision...based largely on what happened to you and your family. In my garage I have an old 1969 Karmann Ghia Convertible with a fairly souped-up engine. It's fun, it's quick, it gets cute-attention (as oppossed to serious attention)....but alas....it's a little death-trap...devoid of todays safety features entirely.

As a family man of 3 children I owe it to myself not to drive such an antiquated and dangerous vehicle. I'm going to sell it. Period.

If your H2 didn't absorb so much of that incredible impact...who knows what would have become of other vehicles and people involved. Thank God your alright.

On another note, the H1 is not built with crush-zones and impact absorbtion....its built to transport people into and out of battle...to take abuse and keep on going. YOU are very safe in the H1...but the other vehicle would receive as much sympathy as if it hit a concrete wall. Had you been in an H1...the driver of the jeep would likely not have come through...but that's another thread. what matters here is that you and your family are safe. God Bless & heal well.
