Talked with 4 wheel parts Denver today.
The 4" rancho susp. lift is avail. Sept 15th for $3400 plus tax installed. The kit is complete with the exception of shocks.
They have the Rancho 9000 adj. for those.
They say with propr rim/ tire fitment, 37" tires will fit. OMG. I don't think I'd do 37's though. 35"S on a 4" will look good.

Are they serious?
It's got fawkin leaf springs in the rear so the cheapest and easoest way is to use an extended length shackle in the rear.
Total cost $100.
Now, I'm sure an IFS front end lift doesn't cost $3500!
Personally, I'm going to put a 1" body lift on, tweak the torsion bars and fit 35s without any suspension mods.

This is all FabTech do to get 3 or 3.5" lift with a Chevy Colorado.

It's a new spindle, new shackle, extended brake lines and new shocks.
Probably costs less than $750 for the whole thing!
Beware H3 owners, accessory manufacturers are going to try and rape you like they do to H2 owners

FormerJeeper, have you ever put shackles on a leaf under axle? The H3 is already feels like the rear is on a skateboard. If your looking for a performance upgrade, leafs are the way to go.

Why would it make any difference if the leaf pack was under the axle or above it?
Is there too much curve or something?

If you read over Ranchos suspension lift kit, it leaves the torsion bar crossmember in it's stock location. There are drop brackets for the lower control arms, a cradle to house the diff, elongated knuckles for retaining the stock r&p steering and stock upper arm location, and supporting struts for the lowered cradle/drop brackets. They are adding new leaf packs for the rear suspension.

With leaf springs, the will be inherent axle wrap. This occurs when the pinion whats to walk around the ring gear in the housing. The tendency is to have the pinion rotate upward for forward motion. With the leafs on top of the axle, the rotation of the axle is not limited in comparison to the leafs mounted under the axle. They both will walk, but it's the mounting under with the lesser of the 2 choices. That's why, when lifting most spring-over vehicles, lift is added with spacer blocks. This creates larger spacer between axle centerline and the center of the spring, the bigger the rotation arm.

Timgco, installed by whom? Will the dealer sell and install it and give warranty?

4wheel Parts Denver would do the installation.
It will void any susp. warranty through GM f the dealer does not do it. However, talk with you service manager and get his answer in writing if you plan on havingthis done. Chances are, if they are willing to do the instaltion for you, they will extend some type of warranty.

The 4wheel parts in Salt Lake quoted me $2,280.99 for the Rancho kit, $3,100.00 installed. includes tax. and $300.00 for a optional 3 year extended warranty that covers all of the Rancho suspension components and installation of the components.
I'm torn, should I go ahead and do it, or should I wait for other manufacturers to introduce their lift's and hope the price go's down?

That seems to be a great price. I'm conflicted because I want the factory warranty. Who knows what the dealer will not cover due to the suspension upgrade.

I think............ you should do it! 
But ask a little more about the warranty and ask if it cover where the dealer will no longer cover.
OH YEAH! GET IT DONE! ...within the next three weeks too.
