Default troubleshooting DRLs

Today I noticed that my DRLs were not turning on. My headlights turn on when I start the car and they stay on even in the day. Does anyone know where to start troubleshooting my problem? I checked the switch and it was set on "auto" I cleaned the sensor on the dash..I checked the fuse, but could not find one for the DRLs.. am I missing anything?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since your headlamps are always on, I don't see how it could be fuse related.

If the sensor on the dash is indeed clean and you weren't just spreading gunk around on it, then it sounds like it's gone bad. I assume it's using a photoresistor that reduces resistance when light hits it. In this case a bad one will probably make the truck think it's dark out. T'is speculation, however. I suppose it could be faulty wiring to the sensor as well.

I'm pretty sure that if you bothered to rub it with any sort of cloth that would have been good enough.

Ree,
I went back and used a cleaner and a micro fiber cloth that I use for my camera lenses and "presto" working DRLs...
Thanks again for the help and Happy Holidays!!
