Default Tie-Rod / CV Replacement Procedure?

I'm going to pick up a spare tie-rod and CV, but I don't know how to replace them.

Does anyone have a write up?

Thanks.

Tie-Rod
Remove nut at knuckle and remove TRE from knuckle. If it doesn't want to come out, hit the knuckle with a hammer next to the TRE. It's a tapered bolt so that will usually pop it out. Pull the boot back from the rack and remove the TRE from the rack. Put the boot and jamb nut on the new TRE. Adjust the length so it matches the one you took off. Put the new one on and reattach the boot to the rack.

Half-shaft
Haven't had to do one yet, but here's what I was told by one of the GM tech's.

Remove brake caliper (2x 15mm bolts). Remove spindle nut (35mm or 36mm). Remove nut from upper ball joint. At that point you should have enough play to tilt the knuckle outward and pull the axle free.
