About a month ago, I received a set of Fabtech heavy duty tie rod ends. I had purchased them from Trail Duty (Phil).

After installation when I was pumping grease into the fitting, I noticed a small cut in the boot.

I made a call to Trail Duty and they contacted Fabtech and had 2 replacement boots sent. Though I butchered the first one putting it on, I got the second one on (barely) (apparently, I should have taken the tie rod end off and pressed the boot on... (I didn't))

Anyway, I received an email from Phil today just checking to make sure everything was satisfactory.

I just wanted to say (as many of you already know) If you have to deal with Trail Duty, rest assured that the service is as good as the product.

Mark

Just for record, I've had the EXACT same result from our founder, Jason from The H2 Source.

Not to sound like I'm brown nosing but I think your right, credit should be given for great service. I've dealt with them twice, once for my gobi and once for my tie rods. I even recieved and extra little gift with my last purchase (probably shouldn't say that here ).

Right up there with Hummer Solutions IMO.

EXTRA LITTLE GIFT??? WTF??? LOL

I agree, it wasn't a matter of brown nosing but I think when a company does a poor job, it's our responsibility to report the facts... And when someone or a company does a great job, I think we should let fellow members know.

The service was great, when I did have a problem, it was fixed and then to top things off, I get a follow up email just to check up.

That's service.

Mark

I just ordered my tie rods yesterday from TD. Talked to Phil on the phone, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the H2 and very helpful.
