My temperature gauge is always just above the half way point... Is any one else experiencing the same thing??? I am not use to it being so high...

That's exactly where my needle has always been. In the winter, my needle will sit at the 40% point and half way the rest of the time. Once, going through the Eisenhower Tunnel on I- 70 in July on an 81 degree day at 11,100 feet AND with the AC on, I saw the needle push towards two-thirds, but no warnings, buzzers,or boiling over and the H3 ran just fine.

Mine sits the same, but here's a wierd one. When I'm on the freeway and stomp on the gas, the tranny kicks down and the temp gauge drops - if I keep it floored, the temp will go all the way down to 'cold' - I let off the gas, temp goes back up to regular.
I called the dealer and he said he hasn't seen that before, but tried a couple others and they did the same thing. Anyone else have this happen?
