Friends:

I'm considering buying a Pull Pal for all the usual reasons. However, I noticed one internet article saying the Pull Pal is intended to assist moving wheels, not anchor a dead weight pull. If that is true, and you are truly stuck, does the Pull Pal make any sense? I must be missing something here and would appreciate members' input.

I've always gotten outstanding advice from you gents and ladies, so I'm asking for more.

Best regards,

George SSSS

I got to see and use the Pull Pal RW 11000 frist hand, at the Hummer Driving Academy. We had A H2 SUT all 4 tires buried in sand/dirt, you could open the door and step right out onto the ground, we were stuck.

We hook up to the Pull-Pal, we started to winch and the Pull-Pal set it's self deep into the ground right away, and we winch the rig out of the sand/dirt with no problems.

And the Pull-pal was very easy to remove from the ground, all we did was pull up on the end of the Pull-Pal and it came right out of the ground.

I do have the Pull-Pall RW 11000 for my rig.

Guys:

Definitely solid information. I'm going to get one. Two questions:

1. When you use it, are you turning the vehicle's wheels?

2. How do you transport yours? I have a Gobi stealth rack on my rig. I saw some brackets on the internet. Do either of you use one of them?

Thanks,

George SSSS

I just carry mine in the back of the Hummer along with my Hi-Lift Jack. Mine is still in the box.

I am thinking of making a mount on the roof basket to hold it.

I read on the net somewere that the Pull-Pal will fit into a gun case bag.

George

I just bought a Hard Plastic Gun Case, from Wal-Mart for $21.95 .

The Pull-Pal fit perfect in side of it.

Outstanding. Is it a standard rectangular case or something else?

It is a hard rectangular case, it was made to hold two shotguns.
And the Pull-Pal fit it just perfect.

Couldn't find the product on walmart.com but did find this case . Is that about the same thing? Do both parts of the Pull-Pal fit inside?

Thanks much.

The spade part is a projectile waiting to happen and that case is a terrific solution! Thanks for the pics.

The case works great. The spade was the hard one to try to find a place for in the Hummer.

I removed the top foam from the case, so the top would close better, it was a little tight.

With the case I can now mount it to the Roof Basket, for runs and then remove it after runs.
