Re: 38x15.5x18 tires
is it the hieght or the width of the tires that won't fit, or maybe both, what size lift would i need?

Re: 38x15.5x18 tires
Six inches of lift, and even then you might get slight rubbing in extreme situations. If you do a search for tires you will get loads of information.

Re: 38x15.5x18 tires
You must get a lift to run those tires. I don't think the 4" is high enough if you're going to wheel the truck on anything more than a dirt road. We have a 6" lift and still get rubbing when offroad. Most noticably on the front wheel wells where we've had to trim much of the fender lining away.

Re: 38x15.5x18 tires
hey tbuckley, nice hummer
thanks to everyone taking time to answer my question. I didn't think before I ordered so I will see how bad they are. By the sounds I'll be investing in a lift kit

Re: 38x15.5x18 tires
With gear rims these tires do fit, can flex the suspension without rubbing(to an extent) and only when the tires are turned all the way do they rub, but not much at all. I will try to post some pics soon.
