Everyone knows first off that I luv my hummie and would never say anything bad about her.
I am 6 feet 1 inch, and weigh about 185 and wear shoe size 10. (and yes I am a guy, girls don’t give out this kind of info) I have very little room between the gas and brake pedal, can this be adjusted by the dealer? I can feel my shoe touching the brake pedal while I am centered on the gas pedal.
When messing with the controls on the side of the driver’s seat, it is very tight. I have pretty much given up with making any adjustments until I can stop and open the door.
Everyone ask me how I like the Hummer, I have always said that I LOVE it but these 2 “tight” areas are starting to bug me.

I have the same problem with the switches, but I can reach them with my fingers. However, this is not unique to the H3, I had a problem with my Vette and a Grand Prix I used to own.
My suggestion to Hummer designers....
Extend the arm rest six inches forward, and put the seat switches on the arm rest. (Yes this is expensive since the seat supplier now installs the switches in the seat, and it could require more wiring in the door). Put the window switches on the console around the shifter, as they do on Saturn VUEs. This would cut down on one switch for the passenger door, and allow the passenger to also control all the rear windows.
As for the pedals, I have this problem with tennis shoes, but not dress shoes. I'll give it the ultimate test this weekend when my 6'6" kid, with size 14 feet comes over and takes it for a spin.
I have learned to drive with my foot resting on the bottom of the throttle pedal, versus half-way up. This appears to have solved that problem.

Your right about the shoes. I really only have this problem now that I think about with my doc martins.
If they would have given maybe just an inch more clearence on the sides it would have been a perfect fit.

I'm 6'5, size 13 feet. When I wear running shoes I don't have any clearance issues with the pedals, I do get a bit cramped when I wear boots however. As for the seat controls on the drivers side, yeah it's cramped, gotta open the door to reach them. The passenger side has more room to reach the controls, not sure why they cramped the drivers side controls so much.

I'm the same way. 6'1" with size 13's.
I'm glad they put the plastic guard up on the center part to prevent wear and tear, but the thing that make me scratch my head is if you push back on the plastic part, it moves back about an inch or two. Was something not put together correctly, or a missing "tag" to hold it to the center console better?
I'm use to it now, but it is quite odd. Anyone else try pushing on it?

No, actually size 13 too and I have noticed the cramped spacing. I was basically just hoping that I got used to it. Are most of you getting used to it?

I strongely agree with the window control situation. I'm 5'3" (female), so have the seat pretty well forward. I feel like I'm reaching into the back seat with my arm twisted back to reach the window controls. I can certainly see the gas pedal issue also, even though that's not a problem for me.

Did you have a good B-Day?
I have been gone a lot lately and I see the count has narrowed some. Only 39 in the lead now
