I have a 2005 SUT and have had it back to the dealer SEVEN times for various problems, The most serious being the shifter assy. Once it locked in the parked position and had to flat bed it to the Dealer. Two times tha the handle became loose. I called GM consumer and am not satisfied.I have to bring it back to the dealer(I am bringing it to a new dealer) again they just changed the whole shifting assy and in three days it became loose AGAIN. The other problems I have had are the side view mirrors not working properly (twice) feedback from my radio system) and other minor things. In spite of it all I still love my Hummer. I want to know if anytone else has these problems. I would appreciate any comments on this situation.
Thanks

Shifting "assy"??? Unless you're bottom is sagging or liquified, you better changed the spelling to "assembly".

Stoney, My shifter sticks in park also, i hit the brake pedal a few times in between swearing and it always comes out of park. My shift lever is loose also , I assumed everyones was? My mirrors also act up , but only in freezing temperatures . Remember this thing isnt engineered in Germany its a GM product. Over all it is a tuff very capable truck. I think you'll like it .

tell your girlfriend that when she's got her back against the stearing wheel and the two of you are knocking boots that the shift assembly is no place for her foot
