The attached photo was taken of the inside rear view mirror. I wanted to test the rear view lens to see if it would work at night with the backup lights as the only illumination. I placed two boxes about 3’ high and 12” wide 10’ behind the bumper, in line with the outside edges of the H3.

The boxes were more visible than they appear in the photos. I consider the test a success and the wide- angle lens a good addition for safety.

I had the same reaction, so it's not just me.

Reminded me of partying in college dorms a long time ago....

But maybe this rear lens thing is the next best thing to a backup cam. Obviously there's a significant blind spot directly behind the H3. And very few of us want to carry orange cones in our vehicle and park like a UPS truck.

Sorry about the poor quality of the photo. I fired off a quick shot that came out too dark and so I sketched the aliens to cover the area where the boxes were visible.

I was getting ready for a camping trip and in a rush. I am hoping that I can prevent a child or dog from getting run over.

Does anyone have a favorite photo editing program? I am in need of something better than "Paint.

Photoshop is by far the best image editing software out there but it is expensive. You can find it cheaper but retail is $600+. Another one that I use is Macromedia Fireworks and depending on what I am doing it is better than Photoshop. Don't recall what retail is because I have always gotten it as part of a bundle.

I'd put 2 COM in the one on the left move over and squeeze one off in the head on the one with no legs, back to the one of the left and try the head before he makes it to the ground.

I use Photoshop too. But only because I could get it cheap.

Paint Shop Pro is a lot cheaper and pretty comparable for basic stuff. If you have a newer version of MS Office, there is a Picture Manager module you can install which has some basic editing features.

There is also some good freeware out there. If you're tech savvy, try GIMP.
