Re: How to remove dealership info from tire cover?
I haven't tried it, but I seem to have read somewhere in probably another forum that lacquer thinner will do the trick. I'd try it on a very small area first, though.

I think is more like a sticker and they apply it with heat .?
I tryed acetone on a small area and it didnt work and discolored the plastic Its hard to get out of the groves.
I beleve(didnt try it)that if you heat it up it will remove in one piece.
Theres a old thread on this from last year

Mine appears as if the letter are painted on with clear coat over the whole think. Not sure but in looking at it, it doesn't appear that you could get it off

Re: How to remove dealership info from tire cover?
I tried paint thinner last week to no avail
All Dealer name/logos are off except the tire cover. If I can't get it off soon, I'll be buying a new one. That is unless Lou Sobh Hummer wants to pay me a monthly fee for being a mobile billboard, cuz I ain't doin it for free!

x2. If not painted on, a decal that has been cleared over. I would imagine your paint would come off with the letters.
