Default Off-Road Light Switches - Question

I don't have the offroad light bar or the offroad grill lights. But somebody gave me the switches to fill in the 2 blanks below the radio. I have a Clarion max675dv head unit. You are supposed to hook the "ground" wire to the parking brake. I want to hook it up to one of the offroad light switches... No, I am not going to watch DVDS while I'm driving

On the back of the switch there are 3 prongs, one on the top, one on the bottom and one in the middle. I want to hook up a ground wire to one of the prongs, a hot lead tied into the dash lights, and the other to the headunit ground wire.

What do you think, the middle prong is for hot and the top and bottom are for ground?

I know stupid questions, but I thought maybe somebody who actually has the offroad lights would somehow know the answer. If not, I can get figure it out. I am going to hook the other switch up to the head unit control that allows the backup camera to run full time when it is switched on.

My other car is not a vette, but it's what I am building for offroad, so my h3 is staying "pretty much street-able" and for pre-running.

Thanks for any help you folks can provide.
