I have my eye on a 2002 XK8 convertible. I realize this has nothing to do with Hummers but I do have an audience of car enthusiasts here.

Can anyone comment about the reliability of said vehicle? Please, no conjecture. I want to hear from real Jaguar owners who have a late model XK series.

It doesn't handle mud all that well, the clearance sucks, and it has a hard time towing my harleys.

I don't own one, nor will I ever. But I thought I'd post something to you're benefit. It's a great looking ride and moves down the road just fine.

Hopefully someone here has experience with one.
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/17387.shtml

BTW, EPA score of only 2 out of 10. Good luck.

Did you even read my post? It was truthful. The car drives like a tank.. Thus the turd comment. And yes we also own a S-Type so I am a Jag owner.

Since I will aparently be called a liar;

This is the XK8 we got rid of really fast..

This is her with the S.

A former girlfriend had one. Black over black convertible. Awesome looking, very sexy, great body. Same goes for the car. Rode nicely. 2 minor issues, the burlwood dash was kind of milky looking and consequently looked cheap. The nav system sucked, not user friendly and needed to be going very slowly or stopped to enter data. Had to go back to the dealer a few times for Lo-Jack issues, but obviously, that's an after market issue.

Hey, Kenny!

You could start a poll to see how many people actually read H2gayperson's, I mean CheeseWiz's posts. Nah, come to think of it, that's a waste of time.

Well, we drove the Jaguar today and on the lot there was a 1999 Porsche 996 as well. Two very disparate vehicles indeed but IMHO the Porsche is the one for me! Too bad the "mystery man" in the back room couldn't see things my way. But the search is on! 996 baby! BTW, the steering mounted Tiptronic was very fun!

You've got to watch out for those mystery men in the back. They'll messup a deal everytime.

You've got to be one of the most unimaginative turds ever. H2HomoGheyPerson and now CheeseDick? Holy crap. I had a fart earlier that was more imaginative than you. It was actually pretty funny.
