Default Which synthetic winch line?

Ok, my steel line is all frayed and smashed etc. It is starting to get scary when using it! I am going to switch over to a synthetic cable. My winch is the H2 Multi-mount 9.5ti. What size 3/8" right? And what brand? Are any colors better or worse due to UV rays? It will sit outside much of the time. I heard you should switch to an aluminium fairlead as well. Is this true?

Thanks.

105' of Amsteel. Make sure to use an aluminum Haas fairlead.

I ordered the 125ft of 3/8" Viking combo line: 25 ft of the fire line so I dont have to worry about the line melting to my roller, and the rest Am-steel blue w/ the safety thimble on the end.

All from winchline.com

I'll take some pics once its installed.

This AmSteel line is the way to go! I was able to barely fit 125FT of the 3/8" line on my Warn Multi Mount. Its so much easier to deal with and saves 27 lbs over the steel cable. Also the safety thimble keeps your fingers a bit safer (you dont have to hook to the handle anymore)
