Default What's a fair price on a new 2008 H3?

My local dealer has an 08 Adventure package sitting on the lot, it had a sticker price of $23,000 two months ago, but since then has been removed. Are dealers still trying to get rid of these things like the plauge? I'm hoping to get it around the price that it was a few months ago, but I don't know if that was just because of incentives at that time.

What should I expect?

no higher then employee pricing or lower would be a good starting point (minus any incentives of course)

I got my 08 in August and paid $26K. The MSRP on mine was $34,500.

I think that if you can get that 08 adventure for $23k-25k, it would be a great deal, almost a steal. I plan to stop at Hummer dealership at some point soon to check out prices, but I doubt that deals like a month or two ago or so (-10% below employee price, $10k off and such) will be available again. The gas prices went significantly down so people are more likely to shop for SUVs again instead of frantically buying crappy subcompacts or hybrides, I guess?

Right now you should be somewhere around invoice - $5000 (incentives). This could change by location depending on how sales are going. As gas prices keep going down (we are at $1.90 gal now) the prices will go up some, but as long as the credit markets are hammered they will stay low. I'd venture to guess in a year we will be thinking of the great prices they are offering now.

Not a HUMMER but about 5 weeks ago I bought a new 2009 Corvette for my 65th Birthday present to me-self ...Loaded out for Straight Invoice and paid no transportation charges. Saw the invoice so I know it was for real. Dealers are trying to move the inventory off the lot.

Now if it was GMID I could have saved a few more bucks....and if I was an employee ..I could have saved a hell of alot more.

But me is happy...

I paid $21,000 for my Graphite Metallic 08 with 4199 miles on it. I bought it June 2008 in Kansas City, MO.

It has the following factory accessories:

sunroof
chrome sidesteps
chrome fuel door
mud flaps

There may be other features I'm not aware of that are extras.
