Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
I've still got this for sale--but getting really close to mounting both of them on the wall in the garage. Once it's mounted, that's it, American Pickers will be making offers on them long after I kick off in 50 years--they're not coming back down!
The sign is 11'4" long by 40" tall. It is lighted with tiny LED lights thru-out, pretty impressive. It weighs around 300 pounds, 3 big guys to move it, or 4 old guys like me can move it.
I'm in the Florida Panhandle, between Panama City and Pensacola, you're gonna need to come pick it up, I've got no way to meet or deliver. I picked it up in a shortbox Chevy truck to give you an idea.
I'll take $800.......

Re: Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
I drove from Salt Lake, Utah to San Francisco, total 12 hour drive one way, to pick these two signs up. It's all on how bad you gotta have it!
I was already set to pick one up, so I figured why not get them both--only now as we're settled back in our house do I realize I may really only need one!
Tennessee's not really that far away.......

Re: Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
I've still got this sign for sale--$800.
One is mounted in the garage--to say it's impressive is an understatement. I'm pretty sure my wife is really WOW'ed with it, and that's no easy task when it comes to my "HUMMER crap" as she puts it. I've got it hardwired to a switch in the garage so the install is clean.
I was going to put the second one on the other wall in the garage, but pretty sure it's overkill--and that's a big statement coming from me, where living in excess is the only way to live.
You're still going to need to arrange pickup in the Florida panhandle, this thing is not light--but it is lighted!

That is sweet...I wish my garage was bigger. It would prolly go wall to wall in my cracker box.
I bet from down the street at night it looks like your garage is on fire! LOL!

If you still have this sign next summer I'll drive to you and pay you $800 cash without haggling or anything.
Just don't work enough being that I'm in college right now

Re: Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
Fair enough--unless somebody jumps in before then, I won't be moving it anytime soon.
Been thinking about finishing the brackets and hanging it, but even if I do, I'd still let it go--then you'd get some brackets to mount it.
Fair warning though--this is not something to pick up if you don't have a place to hang or store out of the way--it's really big to be tripping over, trust me, that's how the one in the garage got put up; I got tired of tripping over it and wanted the stall to park my cars.
This one is safely out of the way in the basement.

I wonder if my HOA would mind if I put one on my house?

I live in a community with restrictive covenants, which is worse than the HOA. My place looks like a whorehouse at night--no concerns!
I've thought about putting this on the back of the garage wall--that's the side that faces the main road and looks down from the hill we're on. That'd get some attention....

Re: Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
what does the lighting consist of? Is it neon? Are you sure you can't ship it to wisconsin? Maybe I will have to take a road trip if you still have it available.

Re: Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
The lighting is made up of alot of little LED's throughout the sign which means it's not going to raise your electric bill. HUMMER was thinking green!
As for shipping--I'll ship as long as you're willing to pay. I'm thinking you'd have to contact some companies that specialize in ground shipping, and it's going to need to be packed/crated to prevent damage. I don't want to pack it, as I estimated about $100 for materials to build a wood crate when I was in Utah--plus alot of sweat to put a crate together. So if you found a company willing to ship it, they may be willing to crate.
When we moved from Utah to Florida, the moving company wrapped both of the signs up in multiple layers of moving blankets and cardboard, then wrapped them in plastic. I didn't need a crate as they were sandwiched in with the rest of my furniture and made it safely here.
The sign weighs in at every bit of 300 pounds or better, and is awkward to handle without at least 3 people.
But--it's worth all the hassle, I power the one in the garage almost daily.
It's a beautiful thing!

Re: Large Lighted HUMMER dealer sign F/S $800
Oh yeah--it's a standard 120V set-up. Three wires coming from a transformer or some sort of electric control box in the display can connect to a standard 120V plug or hardwired as I did mine.
