The entire project went easily. About 40 minutes from start to finish. Only required two sockets, a ratchet, and I used a pair of pliers. I bought the grill at https://www.hummer-parts.com/product_info.php/products_id/463. There were a couple on scratches on the grill right out of the box right in the middle on the top. I take my truck off road enough that it will impact me, but you pavement lovers would have been a bit pissed about it I am sure.

No Grill

Grill installed

Now, black door handles and a good Dynamat install next week....

Looks like you and I both spent Saturday working on the black grill. Looking good.
Mine came in from same supplier in 2 days, but flawless, but I am going back to the garage to take a closer look.

FrgMstr-

Can you post pics of the scratches? I just got my black grill in the mail from gmpartsdirect.com... I want to see what kind of scratches you have prior to opening mine up so that I can compare.

Thanks.

Dark here now and I dont have good light to shoot them. If there were a hood ornament on the grill, that is where the scratches were.

The grill was bumped or dragged ONCE. 10 or so small scratches all the exact same direction traveling from front to back.
