Be aware that the prescribed Stant locking gas cap 10504 and 11504 do not fit the 2004 H2. Hummer seems to have changed the fit. I checked with Stant and they won't know the correct model number for a while.

That's too bad. The Stant locking cap was an inexpensive way to guard against ELF miscief.

I'd say the thing for '04 owners to do is to check if the '04 Chevy Surburban or Tahoe caps will fit the '04 Hummer.

If so, you are much more likely to get an approved fitment from Stant for one of those vehicles.

Good idea. Thing is Stant says they don't know what fits 2004 models for sure until February or so.

But if the H2 switched to make it the same gas cap as the Tahoe, and the Tahoe doesn't change year to year, we might find the fit. What a pain.
