Hello,
New guy... 1st post...but I'll be back..
Weslow Hummer in San Juan Capistrano, South Orange County, has a demo
driver for all interested. I decide to head down to Weslow this morning to see if they even had one on the lot..just one, white with leather interior. I am considering this truck because of the styling, agressive looks..off-road capablities.
I was much more immpressed with the H3 looks than performance, the engine is a bit underpowered for my liken...maybe cause I am used to my Chrysler 300C hemi..which I drove to the dealer. Eventhough this will make a nice vehicle for the wife,( if she approves )...and a great getaway truck for me to steal when she is unsuspecting...
I purchased my 300C in the same time frame as the H3, meaning that it was as the H3 is now...the hottest vehicle, so you will pay a premuim to get one. Which is cool (not the premuim price)but being the first to own one. In 6 months they will be a dime a dozen..just like my 300C. I was not so immpressed with this motor, I may wait until they offer other engine options(hopefully they do..soon..any one know???). A diesel would have closed the deal for me today, I could live with the less than HEMI performance for a TurboDiesel..
I nearly purchased the Liberty because of their TurboDiesel option..styling does not compare to the H3, and diesel not available with the Liberty CA until 2006.
So I'll wait until all the hoppla dies off and the engine options come around..Diesel(fuel economy/boat pulling capabilities) or V8 is a must.
I guess I am spoiled..fuel economy not an issue..need power, or give me diesel torque.
Thanks for the space...I love the H3 look..
very cool.
