I just realized that in all the pictures I've seen, and all the photos in the album, there isn't a single green H2. Is the color that rare?

Just curious,
Kelley

we have green, the dealer told us it is one of the rarer colors, he did not know why but something like only 10% of the H2's made. I guess we were lucky. I will post a pic of it soon.

I've seen several green H2s roaming dealership parking lots lately. It certainly is rare overall.

Our dealer told us green was not selling well, and that he was going to try and start stocking it because no one else is and he gets frantic calls from people looking for green. What a shame, because I think the color looks great.

Awesome pic, thanks. I have to admit that up to now green was my least favorite color, but in this shot...it really does the color justice!

I appreciate you posting this photo since I am down to green or black on the color to get and the more I see the green, the more I like it. I tend to like earth tones in things. Black cars get so damn hot in the summer. I just wish the H2 came in a hunter or woodland green like the H1 or, better yet, that Hummer would allow you to pick custom colors for a few extra bucks. But in the end I may be one of those minority green owners with SONA.

Hummer Green is great, I've seen it and like it.

In terms of what color to buy, it is wise to consider that you will one day sell your Hummer. Same as an exit strategy in a business plan should be built in from Day One. If green has proven to be a lest popular color as reported, more likely it will continue to be such down the road. There is a far larger pool of buyers seeking black, white & pewter, the right color tends to generate an edge in price and marketability, whether you DIY or trade in to dealers.

Luckily I personally love black on black and will not compromise on this point, and it has always been a snap to sell my vehicles. Buyers seeking black on black tend to be equally stubborn about the color.

I've thought about that, Mac. Here is a green H2 on ebay with 6K miles with one day to go and is still less than $50K. Green H2 on eBay

But I really don't care about this really. Getting a couple grand less a few years from now is worth having the color I choose.

I have a pewter, and ever car/truck I've owned until now has been black. It takes me 45-minutes, and a ladder to wash this baby, and mine's pewter...

In addition, I do have some scratches from brush off-roading and noted that they show up MUCH worse on black trucks than on my pewter.

Now, that said, my sister bought black, and I've seen other black H2s and they are INCREDIBLY sharp.

Just my .02

BTW, IO wouldn't worry about green and resale. With the popularity of these vehicles, there will be a market.

Zazing, I agree with you, you have to drive the color you love.
A green Hummer is nothing like a Gray-market European-delivery Benz, cheaper to buy but impossible to sell.

I looked at that eBay green Hummer link. Its a very good deal at $49100, $13000 less my Hummer(out-of-door $). 6K only. Air susp., wrap guard, not a cheap base model.
