I think that Hummer owners in general all know they have a special breed of truck and tend to like or compliment any other Hummer drivers.
If it be a H1 2 or 3. Of course this is just my opinion, but when waiving to other H2 or a few H3 owners none wave back.
Damn I don't look that mean, most are H2 owners just because they are more popular not because they are different kinds of people. What do you folks think? Does my area just have snobs?

I wave to 1's, 2's and 3's. The response that I get is about 1/3 wave back and the others either don't see me wave or have a bewildered look on their face.

It is really hard down here to tell if they are waving back because the windows are blacked out and the chrome has the blinding power of the sun times 10.

I'm not waving anymore, I have waved at about five and only received dirty looks.
I guess it is a MI thing, since everyone seems to wave the one-finger wave to everyone else, and I guess I surprise them by waving with a full-hand.
In TN, where I just moved from, everyone waved to everyone else, with a full-hand.

Its amazing how different people can be in different states. I lived in MI and people have to yield or they will get run over, people in TX (where I used to live also) they can drive with precision but very agressive (most that is). In WA people drive slow, non-agressive and laws and general road ethics don't apply. In my opinion the way people drive is a lot like the culture or people of the area. Not saying good or bad in any of the places mentioned just interesting how different people can drive from different regions of the country.

I waived with my Disco II - about 1-100 waived back. I waived with my Avalanche, same response. I am now looking at an H3. The waive is one thing, but I was test driving an H3 last weekend and I was pulling out of the lot trying to merge into heavy traffic. Up comes an H2 and I expected he would let me in. Nope, he actually cut me off and didn't even acknowledge with a look. That did surprise me. And it was in front of the Hummer dealership?

I get the Jeep (Wrangler) wave all the time. I would have thought that Hummer owners would be a similiar breed, being a convert myself (well in 5-7 weeks anyway).

I personally could care less if someone in an H1, H2 or H3 would wave (or wave back). I've always been the type of person who doesn't care what others think about me or what I drive. Then again I've always been kinda different.....in that I like odd things like Converse Chucks with funky patterns...so for the people who like to stare- I'm used to it.
I guess what I'm trying to say....is that because of my personality- I probably would be one of those who don't wave as I'm not usually paying attention to what others are driving/doing.
