With a vehicle that new I would make the dealer do it under warentee. if you want to do it yourself than I have had the best results with the lube that is used for polly bushings it can be a B*tch to get off your hands so use some latex gloves. you can get it at Energy suspension it is a translucent clear to white color and stays wher you put it almost like a soft wax .

this service advisor was such a P*ICK when I asked hime a simple question about this creaking. He says that the bushings aren't the problem. And, if oil changes were being done, then the grease fittings should have gotten lube. He also said that the skid plate could be the problem also??? He says to check the bolts....

Maybe you should talk to the service manager and tell him that you would like to speak the the GM arbitration rep because it is clearly under warentee and you don't enjoy haveing a sarcastic smart @ss service adviser talk down to you a paying customer. I bet there are other Hummer dealers in the Chicargo area that will treat you right . If it didn't creak when you bought it ,it shouldn't creak now one year old with low miles. It is clearly not designed to do that .

Personally, from experience, if it's front left corner the noise may very well be from the emergency brake cable. The cable comes right into the front-left part of the cab. Took my dealer several tries and never got it right until I brought this up! Look how the cable is stretched tight over the left rear trailing arm and you will understand how suspension travel tightens and un-tightens the cable and causes this noise.

Sounds like a good place to look, you are not going to be alone in this problem .if it happened to Tomp it is very possible you have the same problem in the same place, they are after all built exactly the same .

Well after taking it to the dealer, and them doing whatever to the rear mount points, it is better... but I still notice something, which may be the cable thing you all are talking about.

The question is that I really haven't seen a detailed fix or solution to the problem...? Hell I don't even use my parking break, should I just remove the cable..?? or is there an easier more reasonable fix?
