Re: Alpha Snow pix :)
Runflats. Personally, I hate the damn things and would not want them. But, they can get you out of a pinch. Say you got a flat on your way home from wherever, to be able to keep driving is pretty sweet. Would you be able to change a tire by yourself? Now, I'm not trying to doubt your girl power here, but those tires are gonna way around 165 Lbs.
I can change a tire by myself but it doesn't mean I'm very happy about it. I probably couldn't lift it over my head, but I could get it on and off the truck barely. I just wondered if the runflats have any wheeling drawbacks. CTIS is my bestest friend EVER!
If it has tires or testicles, you're going to have trouble with it
Re: Alpha Snow pix :)
I think I need another option. Either I start carrying 2 spares, or I find different set of rims without runflats. I'll keep the CTIS capability.
I won't even discuss how hard it was to find a shop with a 37" tire and the capability of changing it on a two piece rim with a one piece rubber runflat inside. I have never had two flats in one day in my H2, or any other truck I've ever owned. Thank goodness I was able to find a used 37" tire at one shop and a proper rim at another shop and get it mounted.
