Re: Picked up my new Alpha today!!
I'm not sure if I'm going to run the aftermarket or stock wheels. I do know the 20" chrome wheels probably won't like the rocks too much but maybe there will be enough sidewall to give me some piece of mind... I think I'll just have to wait and see.
Does anyone know how hard/easy it is to remove/install the side steps? I doubt its a good idea to have those on in moab.
I got a set of MB motoring V-drive chrome wheels. They had a special on instock wheels last week so that did help my decision. Too bad they didn't have the tires in stock.

You may as well, get some rock rails on there if you plan to go to Moab. THe last thing you want is to mess up those new rocker panels. That truck would look great with 35's on the stock rims. You'd still have chrome wheels too....and save some money....for other mods.

..the step bars should hold on 4 bolts each side (mine did) so they're easy to remove, however I doubt that I would want to do that procedure too often (I did it twice on/off, then I removed them permanently). Removal is easy, reinstall should be easier if someone could hold the bar aligned for you (i used boxes placed under opposing side). The bars are good to prevent parking lot dents, otherwise I see zero benefit of having them (maybe on lifted truck they have more purpose..) BTW nice Alpha off course.

Re: Picked up my new Alpha today!!
Nice Alpha. Funny how it looks like all the others. Reminds me of the old beach boy song. Deuce Coupe...
"You don't know what I got" reffering in your case to that nice small block v8 under the hood.
Good Luck with it!
Your quest about the rails. I would leave them on till you find a replacement.
Better to scratch them then mess up your rig!
