Proper Tire Inflation?

FWIW, I ran my GSA's at 50psi on the road, and I thought the ride was still quite reasonable (not harsh.) I got about 50k miles out of my GSA's running at that pressure.

For anyone who needs a set of the discontinued GSA's in 16.5" size, I am selling some right now -- brand new, never mounted. Looking to get $499 per tire for a set of 4 or more. I have a couple of sets. Email me if interested.

An heavy H1 at or near GVW [heavy wagon loaded up or armored HMMWV] has the recommend PSI at 35 psi front 40 rear. If you are empty or driving a lighter model [ie. a soft top or have a stripped down wagon] the manual recommends 24 psi front 27 psi rear for unloaded trucks running OEM tires.

It's also on the AM General decal printed on the door jam on the driver side B-pillar.

That being said I run mine at around 30-35 psi. You can run 45 psi if you want, if you have your alignment dead on, you'll get slightly better mileage an tire wear in theory. But the ride will be harsher.
