Gas mileage

I've done that too...'cause, just like you, I was curious about how accurate the computer was. My calculations were pretty much spot on with what the computer estimated.

I do see a difference though depending upon where I'm driving. Just before a cross country trip from MD to UT I reset the computer and jumped on the interstate; when I got to UT my average was 15.9...but that was basically ALL highway miles.

I haven't reset it for a while now...I guess I just stopped thinking about it. The general temperature seems to effect it too...slightly...mid winter it'll read 11.3 or 11.4; mid summer it'll read 11.7...even if it's lying to me what am I gonna do about it?! LOL! I still love to drive it...so I keep filling it up.
