H2's are wide enough to look for a bigger spot or open spots to park. I usually park where no cars around(usually further away from entrance of shop). It really doesn't matter if you have H2 or Corolla, if someone not being careful opening their door, you will get dings, unless you pack a magnetic side protector everwhere you go..

You just need to get up a little higher in the air

I'm more worried about opening my door and shattering someones side window out parked next to me than someone being high enough to dent me. Thats why I usually park out twards the end.

Same here, I always double park, and take up two places. I normally park them out pretty far, but its worth the walk to keep from getting your doors banged up.

Nope! Although I love my h2 to death, I treat it like a utility vehicle. Detail it once every 2 years, wash it every 6 months or so. Have way too many small dents to count. I learned along time ago to use (semi abuse it) and enjoy it and not worry about the minor things. That being said I have an exotic and treat it the same way....

I almost completely agree...I'm on about the same wash schedule you are. It's a rugged, utility vehicle...and that's how mine always looks.

That said...mechanically speaking it gets my full attention. Oil changes and tire rotations are done with religious precision, as is all other routine maintenance. It might not be shiny, but it runs well...

We differ on dings and dents though...I have two categories for body damage: 'street damage' and 'trail damage'. Someone backs into you in the Home Depot parking lot...street damage. You slide down a pile of rocks and smack into a tree...trail damage. I'd have street damage repaired in a heart beat, but trail damage is like battle scars...unless it impacts the trucks ability, it's there for life...plus there's always a 'story' behind trail damage.
