If the building is "yours", then you should have had them towed. I used to that nightly when bar patrons next door would use my parking lot. No Police, just snatch the car and take it away.

You mean remove their valve cores. Much cheaper and just as fast.

Or just cut the valve stems completely off, then have it towed away as an abandoned vehicle

That's our usual MO, but the tow guy was tied up at the other end of town. We use Dave Chambers of Chambers & Sons Towing (H1 Gas Flame Wagon). He suggested a few other companies to use but they were all too busy and suggested we call the cops.

Recently saw where you can buy a tire boot. Having my attorney look into the legalities of using it on people that park in no parking spots around our office complex. Mainly people that pull up near the front door of one of our buildings with at least two tires in the grass. Tired of replacing sprinkler heads because of lazy sh!ts that can not be bothered to park in a parking space

Moving illegally parked cars with a fork lift is entertaining

In philly the police wouldn't ticket cars so we just towed them.

For crying out loud, just treat them like you do when you see an H2 parked somewhere.

Default Re: Parking problems

In many places the police have no authority to issue a ticket for something occuring on private property. For parking, many times the LEO has to see the offense and the owner or manager of the property has to sign the ticket. Simple signs with "damage at owner's expense" language makes things simple for when the tow truck has to drag it out of the parking spot to haul it off and hooks to the flimsy bumper first...... oops.

If it's someone that does it chronically, just call the cops once and have them provide the verbal warning to the owner so that there is a valid record and then have it roughly towed away.
