Don't you know, if you stick you fingers in the holes without disconnecting the battery you'll get electrocuted. You lucky to still be alive

Using the plugs is one way, slightly prying at the top with a plastic tool then grabbing hold of the panel and pulling back works too.

Its not the volts that kill its the amps/current.

The worst thing that can happen is seeing your fingertips glowing red hot, just like a couple of cigar lighters. If you smoke, first light up your stogey with your fingers (pretty cool), then come see me.

AMPS are the killer...unless the voltage jolt causes a muscle contraction that triggers a secondary reaction. Years ago I read that about 25 percent of people who die due to electricity are killed from a secondary hit from the initial jolt of electricity. They take the jolt, muscles contract and they fly back against something hard; usually with the head. I believe that at times the muscle reaction can be the heart, causing some type of heart attack.
