The way the kits are designed you need a wheel with less backspacing, and sometimes increased diameter.

you will need shocks with the kit , so check with 4-wheel parts they sometimes run free shock promotions with their lift kits . i think you found the most economical one available now . the rancho is probably the best available now . Keep shoppin !!!!

Haven't seen one in person, but I'm guessing there's some clearance issues with the brakes and new knuckles due to some geometry changes. Here's Rancho's wheel guide for the lift from their site.
Maybe someone with the lift can shed some more light.

It's because of the spindles, The lip of the rim rubs on it. You would need bout a 1.5" wheel spacer to use the stock wheels.
