Why doesnt Hummer make a hybrid?

Unless the H2 in question is for mainly city driving, it'd be a waste of time. The Sierra Hybrid only gets a couple of more mpg. Better to install the new 4.5L Duramax that's planned for '09 with the 6speed transmission. Hybrid's overhyped.

I have to agree with Huck on this one.

I think a cleaner, more efficient deisel would be a better answer.

I do think the idea of a better mpg HUMMER is a great idea, BUT, the H2 is a pig! THey would have to put this truck on a major diet and that would jack up the price quite a bit. I don't think it's a matter of just using Tahoe/ Sierra Hybrid parts. The weight and full time 4wd is also a huge factor.

You guys are a bunch of dumbasses. EVERYONE (with half-a-brain) knows that the reason car makers aren't doing more in the way of energy-saving vehicles is because they are being manipulated by the big, evil, money-grubbing oil companies. Wake up and smell the corruption already!!!
