I just heard on FOX business that GM wasn't selling any of the brands. That could change though as I have heard so many different stories about this. I hope GM keeps HUMMER.

Well, Rick "No Balls" Wagoner released a statement that they're still going through with selling HUMMER and that they have several parties interested in buying HUMMER.

I have one question though, when did GM announce that they're going through with the sale? All this time they have been saying they're considering all options.

Like I've said many times, I wish the brains at GM would run the company, and not donkeys with too many diplomas and not enough brains.

What we're witnessing is GM becoming the stale, uninspired car company that it was in the 80's and 90's.

The gas craze will level out, and GM will be asking themselves why they sold an iconic brand like HUMMER, and their only offroad brand.

However, lets look at the bright side... Bob the clutz and Rick off the Wagoner are 'earning' their full pay again, and really, isn't that all that matters?

Like the H1 guys have been saying all along, GM can go to hell.

It's been clear that GM is leaning towards a sale, but I'm not sure him saying there are 'interested parties' qualifies as an official statement that a sale is imminent.

That being said, I'd still put my money on GM unloading the brand instead of a portfolio revamp.

Well, then someone is twisting his words because it's been written as him saying they're moving as quickly as possible towards a sale.

His quote was: ?We have some interested buyers, and I can?t tell you anything beyond that right now but we are moving as fast as we can," which can be interpreted two ways. One, that they are moving towards a speedy resolution to the 'strategic review,' something they've been saying repeatedly -- or they're moving as fast as they can to a sell.

As long as I'm betting they're going to sell it, I'd also bet Rick Wagoner meant the former not the latter.

I wonder if Lynch will remain in the Hummer business because of all the H1 sales, service and maintenance they do??? Since AM General supplies all the parts for the H1 they would deal with them, however there is probably some kind of dealer franchise agreement with GM. I have an engineering school friend at GM in Detroit who thinks a sale of Hummer by GM " is imminent." I'm still hoping for AM General to step in, but I don't think they have that kind of cash.
