Spare tire relocation

Has anyone ever thought of relocating the spare tire off the rear door? I did do some measuring and the bracket and tire can fit under the rear deck but the exhaust would need to me re-routed. The tire would still be higher than the rear differential so clearance is not a problem.

Not sure if this is a major concern for me but it would give more visibility out the back window.

Thoughts?????
