Re: mirror display dead

You guys are right....

The guy did the whole job, including labor, for $195. I figured it was so inexpensive - and he did a 'good' job (good, if the mirror wasn't torqued) - that I was hoping for...

Re: mirror display dead

Thanks Tim. Nope - no green light - no light, at all.

I suppose by the black button you mean the comp or temp buttons? Is there a black button I haven't noticed? Maybe you mean the 'button' to...

Re: mirror display dead

Thanks IRA. Tried that (a couple of times). Even pushed (and tugged a bit, I guess) the loom to see if any connections were loose going into the connector. No luck.

I think I will try poking a...

mirror display dead

Hello all. I just had my windshield replaced - out of warranty.

Anyway, get in the truck and the inside rear view mirror heading/temp display is dead. I called the guy that replaced the windshield...

Starter and Ignition Troubleshooting

I just had a problem with turning the key and getting nothing - no crank, no click, nothing. As I read through the posts, I found a lot of info scattered around. I pieced a lot of it together, but,...

Re: '05 intermittent won't crank - start

Rene - you are, at least, pretty much, if not totally, correct - the smaller terminal is the 'start' (ignition) terminal. The bottom-most large terminal is power (hot). The other large terminal...

Re: '05 intermittent won't crank - start

Hi Rene,

Ok - Long-winded post coming...

Here is what I am deducing from your post...

...I am concluding that the smaller terminal is to the solenoid that pushes the starter in. In turn, the...

Re: '05 intermittent won't crank - start

Thanks for the help. It hasn't cranked for 2 days now.

Tapping the starter didn't help. I wonder exactly how to jump (arc/cross) the starter to see if it is dead. I was also hoping there would be...

Check this out - it may help - http://www.axxense.com/Lightbar/H2_Light_Bar_Instructions_2.pdf

The lights pull a lot of current - usually way too much for a dash or overhead console mounted switch -...

Re: '05 intermittent won't crank - start

Right - the search is a good thing. It has revealed many posts with very similar, yet, not exactly the same issue.

Some pose viable troubleshooting, but, talk about jumping the relay, etc. -...

Hello All. Picked up my first H2 a couple of months ago and love it, but, have just had my confidence level go way down... ...turn the key - nothing. Had it for a month and had no issues,...
